The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot is a community-driven program to get permanent residency of Canada, and targets foreign nationals who are skilled workers with intention to work and live in 1 of the participating communities.
If you find a job with an employer in 1 of the participating communities and get a recommendation from a community, you’ll apply for permanent residence then move there to work and live.
To be qualify for this category you must:
get a recommendation from a designated community economic development organization;
have 1 year full-time, paid work experience in last 3 years;
have a valid full-time job offer from a participating communities;
have a valid English or French test result in CLB5 and above;
have high school diploma or higher;
prove of enough money to support yourself and any family member according to IRCC settlement fund requirements; AND
intend to live in the community.
