Atlantic immigration pilot is a new program that could be a pathway to immigrate to Canada. Canada encourages applications for permanent residence from individuals with abilities, education and work experience that will contribute to the Canadian economy.

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Project allows Atlantic provincial governments to select immigrants based on the economic needs of the province.

You can apply through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Project if you meet the eligibility criteria and plan to settle permanently in one of these Atlantic Provinces:

New Brunswick

Newfoundland and Labrador

New Scotland

Prince Edward Island

In this context, it is important to mention that before you can apply for immigration to Canada on the basis of Atlantic Immigration Pilot, you must first receive a letter of approval from a Atlantic province.

It should be noted that each province has its own application and approval procedures. However, it is the Immigration of Canada that has the authority to make the final decision on an application for permanent residence using the existing selection and eligibility criteria. This includes security, criminal and medical checks of candidates with Atlantic Approval letters and valid job offers in one of the Atlantic Provinces.
