Immigration To Canada

Express Entry

Express Entry is an immigration program launched by the Government of Canada basically for skilled immigrants. The new express entry program will manage applications for permanent residence from immigrants who are able to show their characteristics for this program. The Canadian government has recognized that Canada needs new immigrants to meet the future needs of the labor market and to contribute to Canada’s long-term economic growth and prosperity.

This program will allow Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to proactively assess, recruit and select qualified and / or appropriately qualified immigrants under federal economic immigration programs: You can read more at https://www.canada.ca

The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW) is for people selected to immigrate to Canada because of their work experience and skills. Your application will be evaluated according to:

  • valid job offer (not mandatory)

  • adaptability

These factors are part of a 100-point grid used to assess eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You earn points for your performance in each of the 6 factors. (current passing score is 67 points).

As of January 1, 2015, applicants to the Federal Skilled Worker Program will be selected to apply through the Express Entry system. If you applied before January 1, 2015, your application will be considered under the old system.
